Scott Carter
Lead Pastor
Scott grew up in Camas Valley, Oregon, the oldest of three boys. He grew up attending church regularly with his family, but his personal walk with the Lord began at age 19.
Scott has been actively serving in the church for the last 22 years; facilitating and leading groups- including home groups, Bible studies, youth and men’s groups; as well as organizing men's & youth events. Scott also served as a chaplain’s assistant in the military.
Scott leads with a father’s heart and with a spirit of humility. He seeks to build others up and empower them to reach their full potential. He’s down to earth and loves to bring laughter with his dry sense of humor.
Scott has felt called to ministry for several years, waiting for God’s direction. Recently God has revealed that the time has come for him to step into full-time ministry and the vision for a vibrant and active church in the Keno community was born.
Scott’s passion is to bring back true discipleship to the church. He believes that discipleship is the core of building a Christ-like church. Training up disciples who go and make disciples will create a ripple effect, spreading the love of Jesus to their families, communities, and to the world.

Angela also had the honor of speaking at a women's retreat and hopes to use her message to bring others into a closer and deeper relationship with God, as well as supportive and authentic relationships with one another.
